Anyone have the WD SN850X 8TB installed on their Framework 13 AMD?

Hi all,

Looking to get a WD SN850X 8TB in preparation for the latest Framework 13 (AMD AI 300). However I’m unsure if the SSD itself is single sided or double sided?

Done some digging online and found conflicting statements. For example AnandTech and Tom’s Hardware claim that both the 4TB and 8TB are double sided. While a post on the SanDisk forum claims the 8TB variant is single sided.

Asking because I’m worried that after splurging for the SSD, it doesn’t fit on the Framework 13. Want to make sure the SSD is compatible before I pull the trigger on the purchase.

You can buy the WD SN850X 8TB directly from Framework, so I assume it will fit the laptop, Be sure to get the 2280 to match the size.
