Does anybody know the part number of the 3.5mm socket that is used on the audio expansion card? A compatible one is fine, too.
Mine is worn out and I want to replace it, and I want to try my luck without buying a completely new expansion card.
Framework support says:
We don’t have information about the specific socket part used in the Audio Expansion Card, as we don’t recommend users attempt repairs at the component level. If the module isn’t working as expected, it’s generally more reliable to replace the entire Expansion Card instead.
Which is a bit antithetical to Framework’s mission statement, in my opinion. (I’m OK with voiding the warranty of the expansion card and possibly destroying it. I can go the route of buying a new one, then.)
