I have been having battery problems recently. first it was leaving my laptop in my bag for a couple days and when I pulled it out and plugged it in and no leds lit up. I have tried resetting the mainboard and doing the method where you plug a normal brick in and the pd charger. I was able to get it to boot once with the battery plugged into the mainboard but it was running on ac. I tried to update the bios so it didn’t do it again but I cant update because when I would try to update it would tell me no battery detected. so tried to boot without the SSD to see if it was a problem with my os (manjaro) so I unplugged it and I can now not get it to boot on ac again. I have tried to reseat the battery connecter many times, the pins are not bent and I’m pretty sure the connecter is all the way in. if anyone has any ideas please help.
Sounds like your CMOS battery is dead.
Try charging the Framework for at least 24 hours.
