Bought the framework laptop 16 to be used in university, specifically game development. I share the same common reasons for buying this laptop above other laptops, even if that meant paying a premium. However, I feel like I’m missing a couple key features I wish was an option.
To note, yes I do run on windows, will probably switch to Linux later on, but not right now. So, in regards to that, is there plans to bring a software you can access on Windows to change certain settings without having to restart the machine and go into the bios. Or does that already exist and I just missed it?
What I’m looking for is an option to limit and disconnect/reconnect the battery from Windows without having to reboot the system. If there is a command to do so or such a feature already exists, I would love to have it. If not, is this something that is actively in development or planned to be incorporated in the future?
What could be the limitations of trying to incorporate these features and is it something I should or shouldn’t get my hopes up about? Asking anyone who might know something. Love your mission regardless framework! Hope for many years of support!
