Bluetooth Audio drops on Fedora 40/41

Happy Framework 13 12th gen user for a while. Last year I upgraded to Fedora 40 and my bluetooth headphones started glitching and disconnecting randomly. I tried 3 different headphone models and they all show the same problems, so it isn’t device specific. I re-imaged the laptop with Fedora Silverblue 41 and it has the same problems. I also tested with an Ubuntu 24.10 live USB and got the same buggy connections.

Yesterday I booted into a live Fedora 39 image and bluetooth was solid again, which makes me think that a kernel or firmware change in recent releases is to blame.

I can reproduce this reliably when a Youtube video, audio starts glitching out within a minute, and the device will disconnect entirely at some point within 3 minutes. Can anyone else reproduce?

Cheers.

Wifi is solid, this happens when I am close to the computer. Bios recently upgraded to 03.08, didn’t help.
