Boot menu shows only 2230 ssd

I have the lates BIOS version 3.05
I have two bootable SSDs in the Framework 16, but I can only boot from the 2230 when both SSDs are inside the notebook.
In BIOS both SSDs are both shown as expected in the “Attached Device List”:

However, when I enter the submenu “EFI Boot Order” it shows only the 2230 SSD (SN740):

If I reboot into the boot menu it also allows to boot from the 2230, the 2280 is missing there too.

When I remove the 2230 physically, it shows the 2280 as expected in both menus:

I had a similar issue recently, after installing Windows on the 2230 the 2280’s linux install dissapeared as an option. Assuming one of those is Linux, you may need to do what I did which is manually add the boot entry. I posted my findings here:
