Hi everyone, since I upgraded the BIOS I got a Booting Problem, could someone help me out?

“0.1317961 RDSEED32 is broken. Disabling the corresponding CPUID bit.

Warning: /dev/disk by-uuia/24eea343-1c5t-444f-bed3-4856449582/1 does not exist

Generating " run/initranfs/rdsosreport.txt"

Entering emergency mode. Exit the shell to continue.

Type “journalctl” to view system logs.

You might want to save “›un/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt” to a USB stick ar sboat after mounting them and attach it to a bug report.

Cannot open access to console, the root account is lacked.

See sulogin(8) man page for more details.

Press Enter to continue.”

thanks in advance!

can you see your disk in BIOS? if not, then try to disable battery

Turn on laptop and spam f2 for 8 seconds
select “setup utility” → “advanced” → “Battery disconnect”

choose yes and confirm with enter

then save and exit (press F10 and then Enter)

turn of computer disconnect power cord wait 90 seconds

connect power cord, it should turn on and connect battery again, check if you can see drive.

Oh thanks! Actually, I see my disk in the bios.

After trying to boot my desk I get that error message: 0.1317961 RDSEED32 is Broken. Disabling the corresponding CPUID bit.

After that, I get to my LUKS login, but I can not type. And after a while, I get the error message I have posted first.

probably you have updated kernel too. see "RDSEED32 is broken. Disabling the corresponding CPUID bit." - Fedora Discussion

Wow, thank you, yes, that’s exactly how my boot process behaves. Have a nice night!

Greetings

Sil4
