Buying third party expansion cards etc

So, there are a lot of great third party expansion cards and other addons here on the forum, often with tons of details on github.

But: only very few of them people can actually buy - consider all those news articles about new expansion cards for framework - and in the end only a handful people in the world are using them. Then also, for the ones that are available you’d have to search the forum to find a link to a little shop website that you would never find otherwise.

My question; is there a way to get a bigger producer to (after verifying designs) make those cards available to a wider public? (all of them, from scroll-whel card to UART etc.)
(ideally framework themselves - they could even explicitly market them as third party designed).

Might also be very interesting for marketing, to see more people having a framework with all these unusual and fun addons. (I oncy nearly bought a thinkpad E solely because it had a little storage space for earbuds…).

P.S. maybe all of that would be solved with an official third-party marketplace on the website? What are your thoughts?

I’m also really interested in this idea, having at least “central place of knowledge” about all the 3rd party expansion cards - in my opinion, some kind of “megathread” like we have for expansion cards wishlist would be interesting. It could be a place where people can announce that they have some kind of expansion card (if they wish to share) and having the knowledge how many types of different 3rd party cards can be an interesting output for some discussion about if there would be a possibility to also create them centrally.
