Chromebook hardware vs regular

Does anyone know the difference between the Chromebook touchpad and the normal framework touchpad?

The real question is if it will have a touchscreen :eyes:

$1k is already pushing it for a Chromebook. But a $1k Chromebook without a touchscreen? That’s a joke.

There’s no touch screen, it still has the same screen as the “normal” framework.

As far as I know it’s a different interface ChromeOS uses for Trackpads. From my understanding Chromebook trackpad should be compatible with Windows.

Or they may just be identical like fan + heatsink
