The tech specs say, “• Framework Laptop 13 Pro Input Cover Kit with Haptic Touchpad (Language and color options available)”, the way I’m reading it is that the input cover has a range of prices depending on the layout chosen. So, the lavender or orange-grey option would be 30$ more on the total price not an additional 179$. Once we can place orders we will see unless a staff member can confirm this for us here.
I mean, maybe, but the selection page seems pretty clearly to have the prices separate. Look at the Silver page too. They wouldn’t list out all those items that have no choices separately unless they all contribute to the cost:
I’d guess because the Pro itself is only being sold in graphite, so rather than adding silver chassis kits to their assembly line, it’s easier to sell to us piecemeal.
Either way, in your screenshot it’s pretty clear in my opinion that the intent is to show the graphite one as 1059 + 249 (CAD?), not 1059 all in.
