While the current diving board track-pad is excellent on the framework 13. I would prefer is there could be options for pads with physical buttons on the top? ( similar to thinkpads/elitebooks) as the hand position for actually clicking instead of tapping is terrible. Due to the position the hand must take to left/right click and drag is almost painful.
An amount of travel isn’t needed. but buttons raised just a bit above the trackpad for tactile difference is all that would be needed ( maybe 1-2 mm?? ).
I am not entirely sure if a three button configuration (thinkpad) or a 2 button configuration (elitebook) would be better since a trackpoint does not currently exist for the framework 13 (that I am aware of)
Also why is a tag requirement required? I just used the intel-us1 one because this isn’t really specific to a model and I wasn’t sure which one to use
