Windows 11 25H2

Laptop 16 AMD 7040 Series 1st Gen Bios 4.04

AMD Radeon™ RX 7700S

Hello

After updating to Driver Bundle 3.03 I now get the error shown in the screenshot. I have tried rebooting, deleting, redownlading, and reinstalling the driver package but the error persists. Can you assist.

Thank you.

Got the same issue. had to reinstall windows, and now the drivers wont install. Not sure about OP, but during install it stops working after the graphics card driver.

I didn’t have at reinstall Windows.

Sorry for your experience.

I found success with following all of the troubleshooting steps provided by Frame Work support:

"Hi Andrew,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’re running into this issue after updating to Driver Bundle 3.03.

To confirm, was this the guide and driver bundle you used for the update? Framework Laptop 16 (AMD Ryzen 7040 Series) BIOS and Driver Releases

In the meantime, could you please try the following steps:

Before performing the following steps, please back up all essential data on your SSD. Once you are done backing up your data, please open a command window as administrator then run the following commands:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Wait for Step 1 to finish then run “sfc /scannow”

Once completed, reboot the system and check whether the error persists.

If the issue remains, please download a fresh copy of the Driver Bundle and run the installer again as Administrator. If you’re connected to a VPN, please temporarily disable it before downloading and installing the package.

If the error still occurs, we recommend performing a clean AMD driver removal using the AMD Cleanup Utility and then reinstalling the driver bundle: AMD Cleanup Utility

Please let us know the results of each step, and we’ll be happy to continue investigating with you."

O you’re awesome. I’ll give that a shot much appreciated.

Unfortunately no dice Ive got a ticket in with support… Hopefully there’s something that can be done
