I run Linux on 12th gen laptop with a 1st gen HDMI extension plugged in.
Does it make sense to replace the extension by the latest 3th gen HDMI extension?
Does it it increase battery life or stability? Or is that not really noticeable?
Maybe…just remove the 1st gen hdmi and measure your battery life, then measure with it connected. Decide for yourself.
