I have a Framework 13 with the AMD 7040 configuration and looking at getting the Framework 13 Pro Chassis upgrade (Basically drop in my motherboard and expansion cards into the Pro’s chassis). Has anyone tested to see if the Pro’s 2.8K touchscreen display works with the AMD 7040 mainboard?
To me it seems it is compatible to all older FW13.

As I understand it you can order the 13Pro with the AMD processor, so yes it is compatable. They didn’t announce a new AMD processor, just a new Intel processor, so it has to be one of the existing AMD main boards.
The 2.8K touchscreen display works with the AMD 7040 mainboard on firmware version 3.19 or greater.
Please note that 3.19 has been held back from Stable because it causes the speaker volume to be too low. 3.20 fixes that and should be out soon.
