Does the Framework allow for a pluggable or insertable DVD player
It’s an essential for me.
The Framework doesn’t have any internal disk drives, but a quick internet shows that there are external drives that support USB-A and/or USB-C. Depending on how often you need to read DVDs this could be a good option.

I have been using my Blu-ray player without issues (just in case you wanted to splurge 
)
I have a USB-A external CD/DVD player that works fine.
