Dual channel ram

I ordered (2) sticks of 8gb ram.
Are the sticks matched and dual channel.
Do the sticks make it dual or the fact that you are using 2 of them

If you ordered them from Framework, I’m sure they will be matched and they will run as dual channel memory.

If you ordered them separately and they were a dual channel kit, they will still work as dual channel memory.

If each stick was ordered separately as part of the same item from the same supplier then they will probably work as dual-channel memory.

If you ordered two random sticks from separate suppliers or manufacturers and the specs match they should work as dual-channel memory.

If you ordered two random sticks from separate suppliers or manufacturers and the specs don’t match, they probably won’t work as dual-channel memory.

The memory controller in the CPU on the Framework mainboard supports dual-channel memory, and if you insert compatible RAM in both slots then it will work in dual-channel mode.

Great, the sticks will almost surely be matched so you should not have any problems.
