My only hope is this can eliminate the need for most framework compatible controllers needing curls to actually get going.
Its been genuinely frustrating trying to see what I need to do in order to get the cooling system to actually turn on enough to prevent the power supply fan to not kick into emergency mode constantly on the desktop. (At low/idle browsing levels of load in a cold room on a cooling rack…)
Like, there are options where if I make various system level components visible to user space, but I don’t really have the budget to replace fried hardware if something goes wrong with that. I need something that feels safe enough, but good enough that I can set up my hardware in a way that lets me know that I’m actually taking adequate care to prevent failure and emergency fan failsafes that sound like RC cars.
