EGPU Poor Performance with Current Drivers

Windows 11 (Build 10.0.26100). Brand new install.

Which EGPU are you using?
Razer Core X

Which Graphics Card are you using?
ASRock Challenger D Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB

Interesting behavior I’ve noticed in many demanding 3d games (Tekken 8, Resident Evil 4 Remake in particular) is serious frame drops and screen tearing on current AMD Drivers. This is regardless of graphics settings. I’ve encountered this issue with about 10 different driver versions from the last few years.

BUT… FOR SOME REASON… everything runs perfectly on old drivers that Windows automatically installs:

Driver Date: 12/1/2021
Driver Version: 30.0.14011.3017

These problems are not present if I run the games on just the built in integrated graphics.

Doing some more research online I’m pretty sure that the issue here is Resizable BAR. Both of these game struggle when Resizable BAR is enabled (apparently) and GPU-Z says that it is enabled for the external GPU. And because I cannot toggle this setting in BIOS I cannot turn it off for these games specifically.
