rather than the view I saw on my old computer. There is no way of setting the quality of printing, I have been through all the settings several times looking for it. In properties I only see this
So I tried a different thing to print, the window looked slightly different but there was still no way to get at higher printing quality.
It is not a printer problem as the window/dialogue still looks the same on my husband’s Windows 11 machine as it always did.
Everything is up to date as far as I can tell including drivers.
So, I wondered if this is an only partial compatibility between Framework 16 drivers and Epson printers?
If so, how do I solve it? If not, what can I do to make it show all things which can be adjusted?
Thanks, Mary
I’m afraid I don’t understand. Are you suggesting I download something which didn’t come with the printer? Or suggesting I start from the printer and then find my doc and print it?
I have done the second but it was far more cumbersome than using the dialogue as it used to show.
SOLVED
User error as normal!
I had connected another printer by installing its software and this printer was somehow being picked up without installing its sofware/exe. Once I installed it everything was OK.
Just another facet of being old I suppose, I don’t expect to be able to use things I have not installed.
