The fan on my Framework 13 on Windows 11 just started going awry recently. It usually is on full speed, interrupted by seconds of it being off. I used HWinfo to check temperatures and it never goes above 30*C and usually sits around 20. Task manager doesn’t report any crazy system resources being used. I also popped the top to check for dust its clean inside. Just did an update to the latest BIOS offered for the 11th gen. Genuinely stumped.
the fan curve trigger point is directly over the idle temperatures, so if you do anything, the fans trigger.
I’ve had this laptop for a while and the fans are usually pretty quiet. Literally as soon as i hit the power button, before computer even posts, the fan immediately goes to full speed.
You may want to check what the hot spot temps are. I’d also recommend reinstalling the driver bundle.
