PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING:
Hey all! I’m currently running Universal Blue, Aurora 44 on my 11th gen intel i5 machine. It’s been pretty good for the past 5 years or so. However, starting about 2-3 weeks back, I’ve noticed that my fan intermittently goes on full blast for about 3 seconds, then spins down, then again goes on full blast, and so on. Per KDE system monitory, CPU Temperatures remain pretty decent actually, oscillating between 39-45C while watching YouTube videos as a test load.
I’ve dis-assembled the fan to clean the inside (which admittedly had a lot of cat fur) and also re-applied some Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste, to no avail. Would folks have any suggestions about how I could go about diagnosing and resolving this issue? Thanks!
