I wish the guides would show Fedora Media Writer instead of Balena Etcher and Rufus. Its a whole lot simpler.
There also needs to be guides for Atomic desktops like Kinoite. It doesn’t work out of the can and needs special attention.

I was about to venture with my 13 into Atomic Kinoite after struggling A LOT on a completely different computer. However, you make me a bit hesistant to attempt it, is there any insight you could provide for me? I wanted to be dual booted with Windows 11 and keep Fedora on a Luks2 partition. Have you succesfully intalled Kinoite on the 13?
I guess the issue with writing guides using Fedora Media Writer is it kind of assumes you already have a Fedora system, and therefore you’d likely know what you needed to install it. By using Balena and Rufus, they can cater for folks running macOS, Windows, other linux distros etc…
the FMW comes in installer and portable executables for MacOS/Windows and Linux tho. Having said that tho, windows does mess up the bootable drive.
