Framework 12: Network download speed capped at 10MBit for Wifi and LAN

Dear all,

I received my Framework 12 a couple of days ago and am very pleased with it in general. But I have a weird quirk which I don’t understand:

My Network download speed is capped at 10MBit via Wifi as well as via the Framework LAN Adapter. Upload is working well on both interfaces. I run NixOS but I also tried an Ubuntu Live USB and had the same issue. Even weirder: if I connect a random USB C hub with a GBit LAN I do have proper download speeds on this interface.

I tried different networks, it’s the same everywhere.

I reopened the laptop and double checked Wifi antenna cables. I also tried other positions for the LAN adapter. The situation doesnt change. I add some debug information I collected and would be very glad to get some help since I’m very confused by this problem, especially since its happening on both network interfaces.

If there is any other output needed, please tell me and I’ll provide it.
