Framework 13 firmware upgrade brick

I have a ryzen framework I bought in 2023, it’s been the best laptop I’ve ever had… Until yesterday. I used fwupd to upgrade the fingerprint reader and bios from 3.03 to 3.07, it applied successfully, I rebooted… And now the white light around the fingerprint reader works, I can hear the fan, it gets warm, but the screen never comes on.

I did the “press the chassis open switch 10 times slowly”, I unplugged the battery. I connected it to a dock and monitor and USB keyboard, nothing worked except the keyboard lights going on and off slowly leads me to believe it’s rebooting.

Help?

Have you waited long enough? Memory training can take a few minutes, especially if you have installed lots of RAM.

Yes I’ve left it on for 45 minutes before giving up

Nothing on the screen at all, I’m hoping it’s not that severe too…
