Framework 13 problems

Hello,

I am wondering if people have the same problem with their framework 13’s
At first it operated as a good laptop (ryzen version).
But after using it for about half a year there are a couple annoying problems.
First i have about 10 dead pixels on my screen, 2nd when i rest my hand left from the mouse pad it activates the left mouse button and 3th, it crashes A LOT. I used it daily and it crashes at least once a day with the blue screen, for work i need a stable laptop so now the framework is just an exspensive email sending device.
Its sad because i had high hopes for it but im back to waistefull but stable laptops :frowning:

The dead pixels should be covered by warranty, so please reach out to support! What is the dead or stuck pixel policy?

As for instability, what OS and BIOS version are you on?

For the mouse click issue, I could probably get it to click by pushing rather hard on the palm rest, but I suspect your issue is with palm rejection. Make sure the driver bundle is installed (re-running the installer won’t hurt anything and may fix issues) and that palm rejection while typing is enabled in settings.

For me, upgrading to BIOS 3.05 fixed that.

I prefer to turn off tapping so that only firm presses that activate the switch under the pad count as mouse clicks, though this does not suit everybody.
