I read somewhere that the thinking on the need for a FW16 case might be that since FW16 is 1st gen, a case isn’t needed yet because no-one has old upgraded parts lying around but I would disagree. There are other use cases beyond just recycling old parts. For example, there is a market for people who regularly need/buy/use low power mini-PCs and rather than buy non-Framework mini PCs as happens now, perhaps users would be keen to use FW16 parts inside a cooler master style case instead (with expansion bay support and 4-6 ports slots, oh, and with a case cooling fan(s) that isn’t too noisy and doesn’t have a high pitched whistle like the old FW13 case). So my vote is for an official FW16 case sooner rather than later. (3D printed cases can have thermal and other issues etc) Anyone else?
