I remember hearing that Framework was looking to provide full schematics to repair shops for board level repair and was wondering if they have followed through with that as I do not want to throw this motherboard away.

Sorry I didn’t quite get if you got your original mainboard working again or not.

But if not, it certainly does sound like full schematics are indeed available to repair shops.

As folks have noted, we do make full schematics and layout available to repair shops under a confidentiality agreement: Are schematics and boardviews available for the Framework Laptop?

From what I have seen so far, we didn’t get a request for it in this case.

Currently the full schematic set is only available to repair shops (including independent repair shops) who get in Framework hardware.

To handle the rare situations in which deeper electrical repairs to the mainboard are needed outside of the warranty period, we’re also making schematics and assembly drawings available to repair shops. Repair shops that get Framework products in can reach out to our support team to sign a form for access.

Makes it sound like they have a standard procedure set up for it.
