Yes, Framework hasn’t announced anything concrete, they just have said that the Framework 16 hasn’t been abandoned, which means there will be likely upgrades in the future. Anything above that is probably wishful thinking. (There have been some new keyboard prototypes, but nothing concrete has been announced apart from the single key module.)

I see. Somewhere along the way, this grey area, it will feel like the options are comparing between apples and oranges.
For the sake of not ‘leasing on the way to the landfills’, I’m going to wait for future options. This isn’t it. Though I do appreciate that the Framework Desktop will appeal to certain users and use cases.
