Does the HDMI port on the rear of the framework desktop have HDMI CEC?
This looks like it would make a great HTPC!

Somehow I missed it in my first read of the specs, it does have HDMI CEC according to the specs:
“HDMI - HDMI 2.1 with CEC support” Framework | Order a Framework Desktop with AMD Ryzen™ AI Max 300
Do you mind telling me a little more of your use case. What do you want to do with CEC?
I want to turn my TV on and off from my HTPC, that’s all. I bind a keyboard key to turn on the TV, one to turn off the TV, then I only need my keyboard to control my entire AV system.
Currently I have a rather custom solution with an STM32H7 dev board gaffer taped onto the back of my TV to wiggle the HDMI CEC pin. I intended to make it into a real board with a proper HDMI connector, but part shortages for the STM32H7 (the only MCU that I know of with Ethernet + HDMI CEC) delayed the project.
