Thanks both, suspend issue seems fixed, i’ll update the others if it has solved those too. Very pleased to get this suspend working again.
I have the same problem with freezes/crashes as described by @Ablomme, @Matias and @J3d, so I downgraded to 3.03 and the crashes were gone.
I am on Fedora 40 but experienced the crashes with Fedora 39 as well. Does this bug only affect Linux users? Are there any solutions for it yet?

I stopped having problems even with 3.05 after updating my SSD’s firmware (following this comment.)

Btw if anyone from Framework is following this thread, please release the driver updates separately as well as in a bundle. If one driver has an issue and needs reinstalling, it seems daft to have to reinstall them all

Is anyone else seeing
Display driver amduw23g stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
in their System logs in Event Viewer on Windows 11 right after booting the computer? I was wondering why my screen was black for a long time (about 30-60 seconds) after booting Windows, so I checked Event Viewer, and apparently it’s the AMD drivers.
I have the official Framework driver bundle installed, driver version 23.40.18.02 (also shown as 31.0.24018.2001 in the Device Manager, but the AMD software shows driver version 23.40.18.02).
Alternatively, the driver bundle could prompt you for Yes/No before installing each driver.
Or perhaps they should make it so you can add /ASK to the command line and only then will it ask Yes/No before each driver.

Thanks for your reply! I updated my firmware yesterday and have not yet experienced any more crashes (I use a WD Black sn850). I will update you in a week or so if this solved my problem as well. 
Yes, I’ve been getting this when resuming from sleep.
Running the latest version of the AMD graphics drivers on Windows 11.

I’m running kernel 6.1.91 LTS.
The Embedded Controller should be fixed on Linux 6.10+, I believe.
I suggest you test a more current kernel. A bunch of those warnings are cleared up in later kernels. Here’s a subset of the ones I know of offhand.

I just ran the BIOS update (through Windows) on my AMD FW 13 and it seems to have killed the computer in a strange way. The update never finished. It instead turned the screen into a mess. (It’s hard to explain: things mostly looked fine, but a parallelogram worth of space on the screen became glitchy.) Furthermore, I could not force shutdown the computer with the power key, no mater how long I pressed it. I unplugged it and left it for 6 hours and returned to a totally white screen. Again, I am unable to force it to shutdown, no matter how long I hold the button. I have plugged it back in, in case having it completely run down will kill it even more. What am I supposed to do now?! Open it up and disconnect the battery?
If you haven’t already, also file a support ticket with Framework support.

I’ve had issues going into S2idle, the laptop seemed to heat up a lot and did not go into the full sleep state when required to. However I have not seen any graphical artifacts. There could have been a freeze or two when the error happened.

Hi, I just got my Framework 13 AMD 7840u. Got it up and running following the directions provided. Question… can I go directly to https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html and download the AMD Software Installer? Or I have to stick with the software bundle I got from Framework as part of the installation instructions?
There are more than just the AMD drivers in the driver bundle so it should be installed first once you have installed Windows.
It would be a lot of work to separately find all the other drivers.
Once you have done that, if you’re feeling brave, you can try to find newer versions of any drivers that you feel you want to try the very latest version of.
