I bought my Framework 13 Laptop AMD series a month ago, and I installed Fedora 40. I am happy with it overall, but the WiFi connection at my house has been very unstable. Basically, it connects for a few seconds, and suddenly disconnects, and this keeps repeating. I tried restarting but it never fixes this issue. It usually connects fine to other networks (my phone hotspot) so I suspected that my Wifi router has issues, but all the other devices (my phone, my windows pc) have no problem connecting, so I am a little confused. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestion how to fix this. Thank you! Love Framework!

Framework’s AMD series ship with the MediaTek RZ616, which is quite known for it’s instability issues. I’m unsure of any software fixes for these issues, but swapping the MediaTek WiFi card for an Intel one has usually fixed these issues.

I would recommend using the Intel AX210NGW.

Thank you, Elliot!
I will try the Intel Wifi card, and see how it goes!
