Well, this is disappointing, as someone who has actively worked on Framework platform support for FreeBSD and as someone who just bought another 13” and went from feeling excited to bummed.
DHH is a truly odious person, and honestly brings very little to the table at this point. Sounds like Framework doesn’t have the spine to actually pull back on the sponsorship, but hopefully we can see less gushing in the future, and ideally no renewal of funding to DHH projects.

did you read the article linked in the OP? DHH isn’t advocating for people breaking the law to be punished– as far as I can tell, and if that’s not the case he should really clarify his stance, he considers it wrong that non-white people live in London

Well, no one seems to be asking “Why?”.
Once each side asks that about 5 times, and both sides listen to the answers, the situation tends to calm down, but that still only really works with one-to-one conversations.
To be honest, I am quite surprised this thread has not descended into personal attacks, as most of these topics tend to.
Do you really think expressing fascist opinions, saying “all non-whites should be deported” or “trans people do not deserve to survive” would get you into trouble with the law in the US? The current administration there violates the law, even the constitution all the time and only gets through with that because SCOTUS blatantly rubber-stamps that.
