FW 13 mainboard in FW 12 case

Hello!

I currently own a FW 12 laptop and I was wondering if an FW 13 mainboard would fit in a FW 12 case and the other way around. I have looked at images of a FW 13 mainboard and the mounting holes for the case look the exact same as a FW 12 mainboard. so please let me konw if this is possible.

Hello, welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, the 13 and 12 mainboards do not fit in each others’ cases. They are different sizes. There are other issues as well, but the Framework 13 mainboard is slightly larger than mainboard for the the 12.
