I’m running Fedora Workstation 42 on my Framework Laptop 13 with the AMD HX370. When I plug the Apple Studio Display into the rear-left Thunderbolt port, it lights up for a few seconds—shows the desktop briefly—then the screen goes black, though the sound keeps playing through the studio display. If I switch to mirror mode, the studio display works, but as soon as I choose “Join (Extend)” the Studio Display stays dark even though Settings shows it as connected. Has anyone else seen this or know how to fix?

Are you on kernel 6.16? There was a regression with some DP probing. You may need this commit to fix it.
