FW13, ryzen 784ou, x2 16gb crucial ram, 1tb hynix ssd, win11.
after it running fine for a day or so, i started getting BSODs. after that stopped, when i start fallout, the start menu comes up but when i hit play, just the window in the task bar starts. i checked event viewer and it said it was exception code 0xc0000094 (heap corruption or something). i tried sfc scannow, checking the corrupted files on steam, i have brand new RAM. only thing i can find that is out of place is a little warning symbol next to a device called goodix fingerprint scanner. Ive tried uninstalling and disabling but it keeps coming back somehow. i ran into similar issues (BSODs after trying to play fallout) and ended up returning my ram for brand new ones so it isnt that.
I haven’t gotten either Fallout 4 or New Vegas running on my FW16 (among other games). Others have also reported problems running Fallout.
