2: Power Good 3V5V supply DIAGNOSTICS_HW_PGOOD_3V5V
9: Fan detected and spins up DIAGNOSTICS_NOFAN
10: CPU reached S0 state DIAGNOSTICS_NO_S0
I tried removing the RAM and inserting a working one, but it had no effect. I haven’t tried to fully reset the motherboard yet because it seems like a tedious task. If someone from FW asks me to, I will do it.
Be extremely careful when sliding the Battery connector out, as it is very easy to accidently bend the pins. Make sure to slide straight down, and avoid letting the connector twist or bend.
Any ideas?
P.S. I already contacted support, but I thought asking here could be faster since it’s the weekend and they are probably overwhelmed.
Support asked me to perform a series of tests, but nothing is working at the moment. Including a mainboard reset, still not working.
I don’t think there’s a solution to the issue. I’m talking to multiple people, and they’re asking me the same questions that have already been answered in the same email thread…
Hey, I have the same problem. Have tried mainboard reset and replacing the fan and contacting support but no luck so far. Did you ever get a resolution?
Hi ! I also tried this whem support asked me to. It didn’t worked. Then, support sent me a remplacement motherboard, everything is okay with the new one.
Few weeks ago I had exactly the same problem. I have the 1340P, also on Ubuntu 24. I was using my laptop from the couch (on battery power), suddenly it shuts down, I can never turn it back on. It blinks out the same problems: 3V5V power not good, CPU doesn’t start up. After several back-and-forths with support, they have sent me a replacement which works wonderfully. I have sent the defective motherboard back to them, though I don’t know if they already figured out what’s going wrong, I will try to ask them later.
I also got my mainboard replaced in the end. Worked for a few days but now it’s not working again with different symptoms! I’m not having much luck these days
