FW13 not connecting to PD1161 Drawing tablet Display

So the only other usb-c display adapter connection I have is on my steam deck, and I atleast get flickering static when I connect to the HDMI port through the steam deck dock. I don’t have any of the tablets drivers on my deck, and I doubt the steam deck is meant to support this kind of thing. When I tried using the framework HDMI adapter with the steam deck dock I got the normal black screen I have been experiencing. It makes me think the USB-c converter is what is causing the problem.
