FW13 stopped turning on, charging/indicator lights only on one side

AMD 7840U:

  • stop taking charge on the right side, indicator light is not lighting up when I plug a charger on the right side, but seem to be charging on the left side, at least judging by indicator lights.
  • laptop is not turning on, I can hear fans from time to time, but nothing on the screen. And it is definitely not booting, I was not able to ssh to that host.
  • keyboard/power button is not lighting up either.
  • latest bios is installed

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Im wondering if this got fix because this just happened to me

In the end it turned out that mainboard was fried, I contacted support and after some debugging the have replaced it with the new one. In my case POST led code indicated the the issue was RAM but in fact it was not
