If everything is correct, I shouldn’t have to do anything, right?

The only thing I might want to change is to remove the dGPU to save $400, especially since I haven’t had time to game lately, but I don’t want to be bumped down to the last batch.

I figured if I ever pick up a game in the future, I’ll look into getting a dGPU then. By then, Framework may have upgraded dGPU options.

In terms of changing things, I would ask support, they were very upfront with me that adding the power adapter would effectively cancel my preorder. (This was months ago, and may have changed) At the time, I remember a post to the effect of changing power adapter or CPU would lead to these circumstances. I don’t recall if changing the dGPU would do anything like that either.

It’s why I didn’t choose the dGPU when I preordered, as I hope there would be more variants. I still think they will for future & potentially current line up, post preorders.

I’d guess Tuesday, so…the 19th. I don’t think it’ll quite happen just coming off the weekend, so give it another day, and…yeah.

I may as well chime in here too, as a batch 5 lurker.

I’m replacing what should have been an amazing laptop, complete with a desktop Ryzen 2700, but absolutely lousy vendor support has seriously shortened its usefulness.
Luckily I bought it used!

Looking forward to using a laptop from a company that actually cares about longevity.
