FW16 w/ M.2 Expansion Board - Windows 11 Pro Crash; No Drives in BIOS

I installed my M.2 expansion board last week. Used my FrameWork16 a few times normally. Then one evening, shortly after boot up, I was moving some files between Download folder and Desktop. System froze. Thought it would come back in a few seconds. Then system rebooted and went directly into BIOS asking for a boot device. Neither of the two motherboard drives nor the two M.2 expansion board drives were showing up. I powered it down for a minute then powered it back up. Things were normal after that. Anyone else experience this?

Hopefully this is a one time glitch. I’ll update if I see it again.

try booting a live Linux and see if the devices are recognized.
I never really trusted Windows for that.
I have the same setup almost (only the 2230 is different), and no problems with the NVMe expansion board and disks.

Thankfully it has only happened once out of at least a dozen uses since I installed the M.2 expansion board so far.
