Just got a new Framework 13 AMD AI 300. Trying to install Win11 25H2 (ISO downloaded from Microsoft, created w/ Rufus) constantly failed. Sometimes with a Watchdog 0x133 error, sometimes just with a generic error message.
Memtest86 showed no errors. Couldn’t figure out the problem. Google and these forums didn’t have anything helpful.
After a few hours, I finally figured out that updating to the newest BIOS version solved the problem. Framework has great instructions how to do that. ( Framework Laptop 13 BIOS and Driver Releases (AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series) )
For the benefit of the next person who’s struggling to install Win11, save yourself several hours of frustration: update the BIOS first!
