Games don't work on internal display

Hi,
I’m on the latest BIOS and KDE-spin of Fedora. I only recent noticed that when trying to run any game from steam I end up the screen stuck on the first screen of the game. While the screen is stuck, the computer still accepts commands so when I Alt-Tab and then Ctrl-Alt-Delete and sleep I am able to get the display running again.

Using the command ‘journalctl -p err --no-pager -b 0’ I get the following relevant error:

Dec 18 23:06:17 fedora kernel: amdgpu 0000:c1:00.0: [drm] *ERROR* flip_done timed out
Dec 18 23:06:17 fedora kernel: amdgpu 0000:c1:00.0: [drm] *ERROR* [CRTC:79:crtc-0] commit wait timed out
Dec 18 23:06:17 fedora kernel: amdgpu 0000:c1:00.0: [drm] *ERROR* flip_done timed out
Dec 18 23:06:17 fedora kernel: amdgpu 0000:c1:00.0: [drm] *ERROR* [PLANE:58:plane-3] commit wait timed out
Dec 18 23:06:17 fedora kwin_wayland[2126]: kwin_wayland_drm: Pageflip timed out! This is a kernel bug

I only noticed this now as I usually plug the laptop into an external monitor when gaming and this doesn’t occur when I plug it into the external monitor.

Need to add a kernel flag
