I have had issues since I got this a few years ago. It works fine for a while, then the fan gets loud. Sometimes the laptop freezes. After the fan starts overworking, I will get issues like the blinking light code saying DRAM problems and it won’t boot. After I power off, take the DRAM’s out, switch them back and forth a few times it eventually works perfectly, until it happens again. Has anyone had these problems? Is there a fix or is it hardware related?

First thought is a hardware problem, but it’s hard to be 100%. Maybe try one RAM stick at a time, and one RAM slot at a time to see if you can narrow it down to a particular stick or RAM slot. Maybe pull the heatsink and re-paste to see if that helps.
