IDK if its possible but i really want a GPU on the framework laptop 13
Those new mainboards for the FW13 will be quite nice:
Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370 (Top-tier model)
The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 comes with AMD’s most powerful integrated GPU currently available, the Radeon 890M. This iGPU features 16 RDNA 3.5 architecture Compute Units (CUs) with 1024 unified shaders, running at up to 2,900 MHz. In gaming performance tests, this integrated graphics solution can handle 2023 and 2024 games at 1080p with Low detail settings.
same, especially for video editing reasons having vram sounds pretty nice. Best to hope that framework starts using the new airjet fans to free up space for maybe an arc a350m/a370m
or something like a 4050/60
no, nvidia has been on a mission for at least the past decade to kill interchangeable GPU’s in laptops so it would have to be an intel or AMD card. Even the 25w tdp of the arc a350m is a little too high because even with a cpu’s 35w max sustained boost, thats 50w. Most FL13s can cool 40-45 watts sustained (with PTM and loud fans) so maybe with some thermal rework and airjet-style fans this could work with a GPU, but it would have to be 25-35w and not nVIDIA
