Hi. Back when Framework issued the Framework 13 for the first time I ordered one. But found that the HDMI port didn’t work with my TV. But my old laptop was fine, and still remains fine with my TV. So I had to send my Framework 13 back, and get a refund.
Having now ordered a Framework 12. Has anyone bought a Framework 12 with a HDMI port, and it works fine with your TV HDMI port?

Well, I think the key is why the 13 did not work with your TV? Do you have any clous for the reason?

Well, I’ve just popped the HDMI adaptor in my Batch 1, and I’ve got expected functionality from a BenQ 4k monitor and an LG 4k TV
This question doesn’t make sense. The problem was either your Framework 13 or your TV.
I’m pretty sure that most people will have no problem connecting their Framework 12 to their TV.
The problem, as far as I can understand it. Was that some of the early FW 13 laptop motherboards had problems with this issue.
I have ordered a FW12, and I want to be sure that it will work fine.
It sounds like the original issue was a design or manufacturing defect with your FW13. I find it improbable that you will have the same issue with your new laptop, but I imagine that if you do, and can prove that it’s the fault of the laptop, you will be able to get a refund or replacement just fine.
Thank you. They have said that I will have a month to return the FW12 if there is a problem. But I was feeling quite anxious about the issue, as a number of people at that time had the same problem.
