I’ve looked everywhere in setup, and can’t find any options related to a password.
Running BIOS 3.05.
My BIOS setup looks like this (not my machine, an image I found online), not the text-mode interface I’ve seen in screenshots.
(Also, there was a previous post with the same problem that I replied to, and it disappeared and the forum claims I created this topic?)
The other was probably deleted or merged with either, if that was real.
a) I wouldn’t follow a link as such.
b) Why not show an image of your own laptop
c) What laptop do you have.

The latter link fixed it for me, thanks. I just hadn’t realized there was further down to scroll on the Security page.
