How to install Windows after Ubuntu (for dual boot)

I use Linux (Ubuntu 24.04) on my Framework 13 (Intel) laptop.

I want to install Windows 11 as a dual boot.

I searched for 15 minutes and didn’t find any tutorial on how to do that. It seems to be much easier if you install Windows first and then install Ubuntu, but I already have Ubuntu installed.

Has anyone done this and could you summarise the steps please? Any advice very welcome!

You can copy the files in the EFI partition using an external boot drive, after installing windows you can put the files back
