- Display:
- Could you please provide additional display specs (e.g., contrast ratio, color performance, etc.)?
- Is there no durability coating on the touchscreen?
- Touchpad:
- Is the touchpad made of glass or plastic?
- Why does only the Lavender model have a colored trackpad?
- Battery Life:
- Some feedback on battery life would be appreciated. I understand this can vary widely based on usage, but any additional insights would be welcome.
We’re updating the spec table to add more detail:
12.2" LCD, 16:10 aspect ratio
1920 x 1200 resolution
60Hz refresh rate
400nit brightness
50% NTSC color gamut
1500:1 typical contrast ratio
MPP 2.0 and USI 2.0 stylus support
Soda-lime glass
The touchpad is plastic material to reduce weight and cost. The touchpad texture/feel is good. We only did Lavender and Gray for inventory management reasons.
Does the FW12 have some soldered ram, along with the sodimm slot?
No, the only memory is the DDR5 SO-DIMM slot.
Does the touchpad use the same hinge-click mechanic the Framework 13 uses, or is it purely tap-to-click? Or even something else?
Thank you for your response. If I am not mistaken, this panel (50% NTSC) can display approximately 70% of the colors in the sRGB color space. Some may find this video helpful in making their purchase decision (assuming the display you are watching the video on can display most/all of the sRGB color space).
