i7-1165G7 FW board in Cooler Master Mainboard Case dead after unpluging power supply

Hi,

I have an i7-1165G7 FW board in a Cooler Master Motherboard Case. It was working until I unplugged it from the power supply. Now, it is completely dead; no LEDs turn on when I plug the power supply back in.

Specs:
Win 10
Framework Laptop 13 Mainboard (11th Gen Intel® Core™) - i7-1165G7
1 USB-A Expansion Card
2 USB-C Expansion Card
1 HDMI (3rd Gen) Expansion Card
Framework Laptop 13 Antenna Module
Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 vPro®
Framework Laptop 13 Cooler Master Mainboard Case
Crucial P3 Plus 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD - CT1000P3PSSD801 (Acronis Edition)
Crucial RAM CT16G4SFRA32A 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (2933MHz oder 2666MHz)

I found nothing in the forum that could help me resolve the issue.

Thanks for anything helpful

Have you tried different ports?

You can do a board reset: Fully Resetting the Mainboard State - Framework Guides

And check your RTC battery - Support can send you a new one if yours no longer charges: My Framework Laptop (Intel 11th Gen Intel® Core™) is not powering on

Be very careful with the RTC battery holder if you do remove the RTC battery. It can break.

Thanks; the reset did the job.

The RTC battery seemed to have drained fully, which I don’t get because it was definitely not unplugged after the last usage. So it should have been fully charged. As far as I understand, the RTC battery drains when the Laptop is not charged for a longer period, e.g., 8 weeks+ and soldering fix is that it charges from the main battery. But as I have the issue in the Cooler Master case in standalone mode, I wonder how I got there.
