I’m trying out this package for automatic screen brightness adjustment: GitHub - mikhail-m1/illuminanced: Ambient Light Sensor Daemon for Linux

It works but not very well. It’s too bright all the time, has really dramatic adjustments with the slightest change of light in the room, and screen seems to flicker a bit everytime changes the brightness?

It uses these settings: illuminanced/illuminanced.toml at master · mikhail-m1/illuminanced · GitHub. I had to change the line for the illuminance_file

Does anyone have a good settings for this package? Or any tips at all for automatic adjustment to screen brightness when not using GNOME, KDE, or any desktop environment. I’m using niri window manager.
